BlackBerry Work App Reviews

Timeout/touchid

I simply cannot rate this app highly when you constantly have to log in. Its too cumbersome having to log in if youve been out for 5 minutes or so. Although even that wouldnt be so bad if touchid actually worked. It defies all logic why they wouldnt implement that to make it easier to log in. The rest of the app is functional and serves its purpose but if I had any other option I would choose it simply because of having to log in numerous times throughout the day. Brutal!!

Good interface and new features, but buggy, features not perfect yet

Like the Good navigation menu - keeps the app clean and organized but not terribly useful as our company wont allow for additional apps anyway. Avatars are useless and should be removed completely from professional email and contacts. The VIP / flagged / unread filtered views are a good idea. Also really like ability to view corporate directory information of your email contacts. Hate that it vibrates 5x for each email received, total battery drainer. Give us a custom vibration setting, similar to native iPhone alerts or just limit to one buzz please. Also, we need a list view on Calendar similar to native iPhone. Its just easier to read given the small screen size on your mobile. Also, hate that 2 banner alerts would show up for each email but that seems like a bug. Will have to turn off banners for now, which is inconvenient. Not thrilled about a separate app (Good Access) install just for secured web access but not a huge deal. Otherwise, the syncing and attachment issues seem like bugs but were already there on Good for Enterprise.

Not getting notifications!

Old version worked better. Running iOS 9.3.2. All notification options on. Have to log in to the app everytime to see if I have email. Please fix this ASAP!

Please READ EVERYONE

For those of you having TouchID issues its because your IT admin has it set that way. You can set the Policy to ALWAYS allow TouchID. The timeout feature is also a policy setting. So if the app asks you for password every 5 minutes its because your IT Admin set it up that way. If youre seeing multiple banners its because your IT admin again messed up the installation and its getting alerts from several different servers. Thats also the reason youre having your device vibrate so many times when a new email comes in. Once the banner issue is fixed by your Admin, it will be a normal vibration. Most of the issues youre having is due the setup of your Good backend by your Admin. Notifications should always happen for each email you receive, your inbox should update in the background 99% of the time, and just be patient, as more and more features are coming very soon. If you think this is a buggy app go try one of the competitions. You will feel lucky your company has chosen BlackBerry/Good for secure email. :)

What a disgrace

Only a company rapidly going out of business would release a p.o.s. like this. Buggy, slow, downloads >1mb fail. Have spent HOURS with our IT support. Have deleted and reinstalled 10+ times across three different devices. All to no avail. On top of that, am constantly asked to type in password instead of TouchID because "Good was restarted". No it wasnt! Just throw in the towel guys and retire.

Two steps back

Not user friendly, a lot of problems as it doesnt push emails or shows notifications. Calender doesnt have reminder feature or list view...who developed this? Leave it to BB to fail...

Apple watch notification bug and more!

Im not really sure what is going on, but this apps meeting notifications are insane. My phone goes nuts every time a meeting comes up. Cycles twice on the phone to let me know that the meeting comes up and then proceeds to get my Apple Watch stuck in a loop where it shows the same notification 20 times before it all crashes. It did this twice already so Im shutting the notifications down. I guess Ill just have to go back to the Stone Age and physically check my calendar every day now that my company no longer supports normal exchange servers via the built in mail app. Using this app is like going backwards 10 years.

Lightyears better than GOOD for enterprise

I was so frustrated with GOOD that I used the OWA to read email in Safari. Anyone who does that with an exchange 2010 server knows the pain, and to say GOOD was worse is not a stretch. The new GOOD apps work SOOO much better. Notifications are instant, Touch ID is amazing (make sure IT supports) and the general UI is more friendly. Highly recommend

Ridden with bugs...

Theres no reason to even give this app one star, let alone five. I had to disable Good notifications on my Apple Watch because emails would trigger literally minutes of buzzing and pinging for one message. The app also sends new email notifications but wont actually update the inbox sometimes unless you force close and reopen.

Garbage

Of course this is made by blackberry. Just like their phones, they are wayyy behind in technology. I dont understand how this app is used by so many large corporations considering how buggy and inefficient it is.

Horrible

I have to actually go into the app to get my emails as it wont automatically update the unread emails count automatically unless the app is opened. The app is also slow as it takes a long time to download basic text emails even when on fast speed wifi. I only use this app because its the only email app available through my company.

Craptastic

Perhaps the worst app of all time. BlackBerry and Goode deserve each other. Incredibly slow. Unintuitive and a wasteful full screen layout.

Good Mixed Feelings

I dont have a choice, so I cant compare other apps except for Good Access. Good Work is much better. I do find it irritating that the One Touch sign-in doesnt work 100% of the time because it seems that the app "restarts" more often than it should. I also wonder why I get email alerts but I still have to wait on the sync to read it. If there is an alert, why isnt the email downloaded? Maybe Im missing something, but who is there to ask? I dont think that those who rate it poorly are being fair because some of the issues they have are admin related but aside from what Debbie1212 wrote - who would know what admin settings are causing what (in easy to read terms)?

Love it

Perfect for those who hate to be tethered to their work PC! Works perfectly. In 2 years, never had an issue!

So bad it hurts

This app is the reason everyone got rid of their blackberries. Its like they ruined the app on purpose.

Worst and unstable app

Have to install and activate almost every day. Would not consider it if my enterprise account would allow another way to access my mail. Frequent crashes, slow to refresh and bad interface. Stay away if you can.

Bland

It tells me I have emails. I open the app and no emails without a long delay until they pop up. If your going to alert me of an email I expect it to be there when I open the app.

Terrible application - terrible notification system

I do not receive notifications during the day when I receive new emails. I have to open the app and refresh for new emails to show. I also receive notifications in the middle of the night that I have received a new email or have "# new emails" but when I open the app there are no new emails. POS app. What do you expect from something owned by RIM.

Ok

Does the job, but for a top business email app Times New Roman font doesnt cut it. Also needs more options when setting calendar appointments. Come on Blackberry, dont mess this up!

Really bad

Amazing how bad this app is. Any self respecting IT admin will advise against a company adopting this.
